Chorizo Riojano PGI presents their awareness campaign aimed at publicizing the quality and delicious taste of this characteristic product, under the slogan “A string of reasons”.
Among the centerpieces of the campaign, is the release of a video where its ambassador, the master chef Lorenzo Cañas, presents Chorizo Riojano PGI.
A visit to four locations, which serve to explain the differentiation by quality, tradition and know-how perfected over the years, the natural raw materials with which this chorizo is made and, of course, the guarantee the seal of quality provides the consumer.
The trip begins in the unparalleled kitchens of the Restaurant La Merced; continues at San Blas, the central market in Logroño, home to the ingredients with which chorizoriojano PGI is made. The third stop takes us to a typical landscape in La Rioja, as the terrain and the situation of La Rioja provide it with the extraordinary climate required for the elaboration and curing of cold cuts, for this reason it has always been a tradition. The last stop on this trip is the supermarket shelves, as that is where the PGI quality label needs to be recognized and valued by the consumer as a guarantee that certifies the characteristic quality of this product that sets it apart. A product elaborated with the knowledge of yesteryear and suitable for the tastes of its current consumers.
